Remove the wire frame by untwisting it at the side. Once you’ve taken the foil off, put a towel over the cap. Here’s the key: at about a 45 degree angle, start twisting the bottle, not the cork. By twisting the bottle, you can feel the cork slowly pulling itself out of the neck of the bottle, eventually ending with a mild pop into the towel.
